The Gumberoo is a fearsome beast, as told of by the early lumberjacks of the Pacific Northwest in the 19th and early 20th centuries. It is said to be large like a bear, but entirely hairless save for it’s thick eyebrows and chin fur, with a thick rubbery hide that cannot be pierced. While it spends most of it’s time in the remains of trees hollowed out by wildfires, when it emerges from it’s den to hunt it seeks food with an insatiable hunger, and will devour anything in it’s path.
Gumberoo?
Don’t worry, our Gumberoo is just hungry for music.
The Gumberoo is a Blog and Digital Publication centering on showcasing the work of local artists in the Portland area and beyond. Our Magazine Issues release quarterly with the seasons, while our Blog Posts come out every Sunday and Wednesday, and feature writeups on bands, solo performers, and those who are involved in the music community from the other side of the stage - like photographers, graphic artists, event hosts, and more!
